Beardmore Dam – spill event

Beardmore Dam is at 98.2% capacity and is no longer spilling excess water.

If you are downstream of the dam, continue to avoid potential hazards and remember if it’s flooded, forget it.

Update 4 – 7 November 2022, 8.51am

Beardmore Dam is at 101.6% capacity and outflows are continuing at a rate of 25,000ML per day.

Any persons who have pumps near the river are advised to monitor the height of the river and consider removal.

If downstream of the dam, expect increased river flows and remember if it’s flooded, forget it.
