Our services and capabilities

Our 19 dams and 1951 kilometres of pipeline store, capture and deliver around 40 per cent of the water used commercially in Queensland to more than 5000 customers.

We are the specialists industry, mining and government turn to when they need the right solution for:

  • designing, developing, managing and operating bulk water infrastructure
  • conducting environmental impact studies
  • finding new ways to deliver water to remote locations.

Sunwater’s Capability Statement outlines additional information on the business’s history of operations and accomplishments.

Our First Nations Commitment Statement

The Sunwater First Nations Commitment Statement frames our recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of this country and the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters we rely on.

The statement articulates our commitment to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, including those who work at Sunwater, that we recognise their sacred connection to culture and Country and our intention to work together to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
