Through consultation, we aim to deliver better outcomes for customers, be more transparent about decisions that impact our customers’ businesses and be more responsive to their needs.
We consult with customers both at a state-wide levels, as well as via catchment-based groups. These groups evolve over time with the changing needs of our customers, and currently include:
Consultation with peak industry
Sunwater works closely with peak industry groups on statewide policy issues on an as-needs basis, such as in the lead up to and during irrigation price review.
Engaging with peak industry groups enables the strategic monitoring of water issues and provides a further avenue for customers to raise issues in relation to scheme operations and management.
