Beardmore Dam – spill event

Update 2 – 11 September, 2022, 12.00 pm

Beardmore Dam is 101.4% capacity and now discharging approx. 45,000ML/d. All persons who have pumps near the river are advised to monitor the height of the river and consider removal.

If downstream of the dam, expect increased river flows and remember if it’s flooded, forget it.

Due to recent rainfall, outflows are occurring at Beardmore Dam at a rate of 10,000 ML per day.

All persons who have pumps near the river are advised to monitor the height of the river and consider removal.
