Sunwater is pleased to announce that Civil Mining and Construction will build the new $12.5M Riverslea Bridge as part of the Rookwood Weir project.
The bridge will replace the existing crossing, which will be inundated when the weir reaches full supply.
It will have a single 3.5 metre lane and will be 21 metres high and 260 metres long.
Construction, which will support more than 25 local jobs, is underway and the new bridge is expected to be completed by June 2021.
Work started at the Riverslea Bridge site on July 14.
