Leslie Dam | Upper recreation area – Closed for construction activities

Update 2 – Wednesday, 1 May 2024, 3:22pm

Due to site conditions, the upper recreation area at Leslie Dam will remain closed while landscaping and concrete works continue.

The community should expect increased heavy vehicle movements, and increased levels of noise, dust and vibration.

The area is now expected to be accessible to the public from the weekend of 18 May, subject to weather and construction conditions. Any delays will be communicated at that time.

Alternative recreation facilities including toilet amenities, BBQs and shelters are available (approx. 600 metres away) at the lower recreation area near the intersection of Leslie Dam Road and Saddle Dam Road.

We thank the community for their patience while the recreation area upgrade works are underway.
