Update 1 – Wednesday, 27 March 2024, 11:09am

From Monday 8 April 2024, the Burdekin Falls Dam Caravan Park will be temporarily closed to all visitors. The closure is due to essential electricity works being carried out by Ergon Energy.

These works are expected to be complete by Thursday 11 April 2024; however, Sunwater will provide an update when the caravan park has reopened.

We understand and apologise for the inconvenience caused by the closure of the caravan park during this period. However, safety remains our number one priority and these works are essential in maintaining safe, reliable electricity connections to Burdekin Falls Dam Caravan Park visitors.

Visitors at the caravan park will be required to vacate their sites by 11am on Monday 8 April.

We thank visitors for their assistance and understanding of the temporary closure.
