Irrigation Price Path
Sunwater is developing a proposal to submit to the Queensland Competition Authority (QCA) in late 2023. This will inform irrigation prices for the period 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2029.
Scheme summaries
Scheme summary reports have been developed for each water supply scheme as part of Sunwater’s submission to the QCA. We will publish the scheme summaries on the project website as face-to-face customer forums are held for Stage 3. Summaries include the following information:
- proposed prices and their basis
- engagement with customers, feedback received, and how feedback was addressed
- operating and renewals expenditure forecasts, and
- the overall revenue requirement.

Stage 3 – Cost reflective prices building blocks
This tool allows you to select your water supply scheme and see how the revenue requirement building blocks feed into cost reflective prices, under a regulated asset base (RAB) methodology of recovering renewals.
Note that these summaries do not include the addition of the QCA fee or the smoothing of prices.
