2022 marks the 50th anniversary of EJ Beardmore Dam. To celebrate this milestone, Sunwater is hosting an Open Day out at the dam on Saturday 4 June. 

EJ Beardmore Dam Open Day will be a free, family-friendly day out at Beardmore Dam, located 30 minutes from St George.  

Talk to our Sunwater team on the day to learn about the St George Water Supply Scheme, the history of the dam, how the dam operates and what you can do to prepare for local weather events. 

The event will include:  

• live music and entertainment 
• food and drinks including a free community BBQ provided
• kids activites
• emergency service and community stalls and displays 
• market and retails stalls
