Due to unforeseen circumstances relating to recent rainfall onsite, we have cancelled the Kinchant Dam Open Day event planned for Saturday 19 June 2021.

Kinchant Dam Open Day will be a free and COVID-safe family-friendly day out at Lake Kinchant, located 10 minutes from Mirani.   

The event will include live entertainment, kids’ activities including a jumping castle and face painting, giveaways and more. Local community groups and support services will also host stalls and displays on the day, including a free community sausage sizzle.  

Our local Sunwater crew will be on site to provide information on how Kinchant Dam operates to support the region, updates on the Eton Water Supply Scheme and how to prepare for local weather events.

Please note, as this is a COVID-safe event, if you are feeling unwell or have come in close contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19 we ask that you do not attend this event.
