Paradise Dam may spill excess water into the Burnett River in the coming hours due to rainfall in the catchment. An update will be issued if the dam starts spilling.
Sunwater is fully prepared for a spill event and will communicate with the Bundaberg and North Burnett Local Disaster Management groups (LDMGs) as required. The Bundaberg and North Burnett communities are advised to stay up to date in case the situation changes by:
