Coolmunda Dam is no longer spilling excess water; however, minor releases are being made.
If you are downstream of the dam, continue to avoid potential hazards and remember if it’s flooded, forget it.
An update will be issued if further rainfall in the catchment cause flows to increase.
Update 3: Thursday 25 March 2021, 8:45am
Coolmunda Dam is at 102.6% capacity and has started spilling excess water due to recent rainfall.
Expect the increased river flows to remain within the beds and banks of the river. Minor flooding possible. Remember if it’s flooded, forget it.

Update 2: Wednesday 24 March 2021, 4:20pm
Coolmunda Dam is at 92.2% capacity and expected to spill excess water in the early hours of Thursday morning (25/03/21) due to rainfall in the catchment.
An update will be issued when the dams starts to spill.
