Second Rookwood Weir community meetings held at Gogango, Duaringa

The Rookwood Weir Project team met with residents in Duaringa and Gogango in May to provide a Project update.

Project Director Mitch Carr stressed the importance of community involvement and feedback.

“The residents of Duaringa and Gogango are central to the success of this Project and the team is committed to keeping them informed,” Mr Carr said.

“The May meetings gave us an opportunity to share information and understand first-hand the issues that matters most to the communities.

“We look forward to continuing to work closely with our local Project stakeholders as we progress towards construction.”

The Duaringa meeting was held at the Duaringa Rural Fire Service building on Wednesday 22 May 2019.

The Gogango meeting was held at the Gogango Hall on Thursday 23 May 2019.
