Warning area: Downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam 

Burdekin Falls Dam is spilling excess water into the Burdekin River. Water flows from Burdekin Falls Dam may contribute to widespread flooding. Expect increased river flows for the next two days.

What you should do 

• Decide what you will do if flooding starts.  
• Do not enter floodwater, rivers or creeks.
