ADVICE from Sunwater. Paradise Dam is continuing to spill excess water into Burnett River. Paradise Dam has returned to regular operating conditions. Expect decreased river flows in 24 hours. Stay informed at Bit.ly/ParadiseStorageLevels

STAY INFORMED – Paradise Dam spilling excess water into Burnett River 

Warning level: ADVICE  

Warning area: Downstream of Paradise Dam

Paradise Dam is spilling excess water into Burnett River. Water flows from Paradise Dam are expected to remain within beds and banks of the river. Expect increased river flows over the next 24 hours.

What you should do  

• Decide what you will do if flooding starts.  
• Do not enter floodwater, rivers or creeks.
