STAY INFORMED – EJ Beardmore Dam releasing excess water into the Balonne River.

Warning area: Downstream of EJ Beardmore Dam  

EJ Beardmore Dam is releasing excess water into the Balonne River. Water flows from Beardmore Dam are expected to remain within beds and banks of river. Expect increased river flows in the next 2-12 hours. There is no immediate danger.

What you should do  

• Decide what you will do if flooding starts.  
• Do not enter floodwater, rivers or creeks.
