ADVICE from Sunwater. Paradise Dam has stopped spilling excess water and has returned to regular operating conditions. Expect decreased river flows over the coming days. Stay informed.

STAY INFORMED – Paradise Dam spilling excess water into Burnett River

Warning area: Downstream of Paradise Dam

Paradise Dam is spilling excess water into Burnett River. Water flows from Paradise Dam are expected to remain within beds and banks of river. Expect increased river flows in later today.

What you should do  

• Decide what you will do if flooding starts.  
• Do not enter floodwater, rivers or creeks.
