Leslie Dam | Temporary playground closure

Update 1 – Tuesday, 12 August 2025, 9:11am

We’re working to improve our facilities at Leslie Dam recreation area by installing a new shade sail over the playground equipment. This addition will provide better sun protection for our littlest visitors.

 

The playground will be closed on 14 and 15 August while the installation takes place. Access to the carpark, picnic areas, boat ramp and lookout will remain open. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

 

The Recreation Facility Upgrade Project is part of a Queensland Government program to upgrade recreation facilities at popular dam and weir sites across the state.
