Great news for visitors – Wuruma Dam upgrades now complete

After a substantial refurbishment, the campground, dam wall and lookout areas at Wuruma Dam have reopened to the public today.

Visitors can now enjoy:

• Upgraded camping sites
• New shelters and BBQs
• Accessible toilet facilities
• Fresh landscaping
• Road improvements
• A new waste dump point

The Recreation Facility Upgrade Project is part of a Queensland Government program to improve recreation areas at popular dams and weirs across the state.
