Visitors are advised road access to Paradise Dam is now closed.

Warning area: Downstream of Paradise Dam

Paradise Dam is spilling excess water into Burnett River. Water flows from Paradise Dam Paradise Dam are expected to remain within beds and banks of river. Expect increased river flows tomorrow. There is no immediate danger.

What you should do 

• Decide what you will do if flooding starts.
• Do not enter floodwater, rivers or creeks.
