Lower Fitzroy Weir
The Eden Bann Weir is about 62 km northwest of Rockhampton on the Fitzroy River and was built in 1994 to supply water to Stanwell Power Station.
Rookwood Weir, scheduled for completion in 2023, will deliver up to 76,000 ML per annum for allocation in the region, along with improved water security for Rockhampton, Gladstone and the Capricorn Coast. Rookwood Weir will feature Queensland’s first turtle movement ramp.
