Sunwater monitors the water quality within its storages (dams and weirs), the downstream receiving environment and water treatment plants in accordance with regulatory approval requirements and Department standards and guidelines. The following sections provide additional information on the water quality monitoring reports and data.
Sunwater has attained End of Waste Approvals which authorises the reuse and release of treated coal seam gas water to customers and the receiving environment to supplement the water supply schemes. Sunwater undertakes regular water quality monitoring and publishes the results in quarterly water quality monitoring reports.
