Burdekin Falls Dam

SunWater 13 15 89

Cost is $5 per person and an extra $5 per night for power. Children under 10 years of age are free. The Fees are collected in the mornings between 7am and 8am. No pre-booking required.

The maximum allowed stay is 4 weeks.

Eungella Dam

Fees can be paid at the self-registration station.

The maximum allowed stay is 4 weeks.

The Eungella Dam Camping Permit and Camping Rules document can be downloaded here.

Completed permit forms can be mailed to SunWater, PO Box 623, Moranbah QLD 4744 or submitted at the self-registration station at the camping area.

Leslie Dam

Lake Leslie Tourist Park (07) 4661 9166 or the Washpool Reserve Camping ground (1300 697 372).

There are two camping areas at Leslie Dam: Lake Leslie Tourist Park (privately managed) and Washpool Camping Reserve (managed by the Southern Downs Regional Council).

Wuruma Dam

No fees

SunWater 13 15 89

The camping area is jointly administered by SunWater and the North Burnett Regional Council. No bookings are required and all camping is free-of-charge.

The maximum allowed stay is 2 weeks.

Camp sites must be at least 10 metres from the water to give ample time for relocation if water levels rise.

Please note that there is no treated water available at Wuruma Dam. Please bring your own drinking water with you.

The disposal of chemical toilet waste at Wuruma Dam amenities is prohibited.
