Our culture

At Sunwater, our culture is centred around our three core values: Value people, Work together, and Take responsibility. These values are the driving force behind our success.

To support these values, we have established a set of behaviours that we expect all our employees to embody. These behaviours help us build a safe and high-performing workplace, enhance employee engagement, foster inclusiveness, encourage diversity, and prioritise wellbeing.

We believe that a strong culture is built on collaboration and teamwork, which is why we adopt a “One Sunwater” approach. We work together to deliver for our customers and support each other in achieving our goals. Our inclusive culture allows everyone to bring their unique perspectives and experiences to the table, leading to better solutions and outcomes.

Our values

Our values underpin our day-to-day behaviours and the way in which we work; setting the standard for how we treat each other and every person we interact with.

Sunwater has established a Diversity and Inclusion Committee that is made up of employees from different areas of the organization and is responsible for driving our diversity and inclusion strategy forward. The committee’s key responsibilities include identifying opportunities to improve diversity and inclusivity within the organisation, reviewing policies and procedures, and providing guidance on issues related to diversity and inclusion. The committee also works closely with other departments and teams to ensure that our approach is integrated across all aspects of our business. Through the efforts of our committee, we are able to continually improve our efforts towards creating a more diverse, inclusive, and welcoming workplace for all employees.
