Update 4: Monday, 16 May 2022 – 11:20am

Paradise Dam safety reminder: the lake and boat ramp are now closed for recreation until further notice.

Visitors are advised road access to Paradise Dam is now closed.

Update 3 – Sunday, 15 May 2022, 1.05pm

Paradise Dam is at 113% capacity and continues to spill excess water. The storage level may reach greater than minor flood level.

Review your emergency plan and stay alert for further advice.

Paradise Dam is now spilling excess water. The storage level is 100.9% capacity and rising.

The Paradise Dam Emergency Action Plan has been activated and Sunwater will communicate with Bundaberg and North Burnett Local Disaster Management groups (LDMGs) as required.
