Tinaroo Falls Dam crocodile sighting

A recent crocodile sighting has been reported at Tinaroo Falls Dam. 

The Department of Environment and Science (DES) is investigating the reported sighting. For more information visit the crocodile sightings dashboard.

Sunwater urges people using the dam for recreation to be aware of the potential safety risks posed by crocodiles.  

DES encourages all crocodile sightings to be reported as soon as possible, and the best methods of reporting are: 

  • using the QWildlife app available for IOS and Android  
  • calling the 1300 130 372 (select option 1) 
  • accessing the sighting report online service
