Kirar Weir is situated on the Burnett River, 5kms for Eidsvold, and makes available 20,000 megalitres of Medium Priority Water Allocations.

Paradise Plus – extra water now available in Bundaberg Irrigation Area
Bundaberg Water Supply Scheme now has access to more than 50,000 ML of additional Paradise Dam water through a new incentive called Paradise Plus.
For the 2008-09 Water Year, SunWater will top-up the allocations of new and existing Paradise Dam customers to 100% of their nominal volume. The water remaining will be made available on the temporary transfer market.
