Online Temporary Transfers
SunWater has released new functionality to SunWaterOnline to provide customers with greater flexibility when managing their water.
Available 24 hours a day, this new online service minimises the paperwork involved in arranging a Temporary Transfer guaranteeing a quick and easy transaction at your convenience.
Provided both the buyer and seller are registered SunWaterOnline account holders, the process of conducting a transfer requires no forms to be completed or signatures to be collected.
Furthermore, most requests submitted to SunWater for approval will be transacted immediately. The site also provides customers with the facility (online) to accept or reject the transfer request. Temporary Transfer approval processes are thus expedited significantly.
Your checklist to Temporary Transfer online
Before you can conduct a Temporary Transfer online you will need to:
- locate the buyer/seller (eg. via the SunWater office or a broker)
- negotiate the price and volume to be transferred
- be a registered SunWaterOnline account holder
- know your Water Account number
- ensure that the buyer/seller is also a registered SunWaterOnline account holder, and
- know the buyer/seller's Water Account number.
Customers wishing to use SunWaterOnline's many services need to register for a SunWaterOnline account. Registration for SunWaterOnline is completely free and only takes five minutes.
