Facilities Management Services

SunWater is a leading provider of facilities management services internally to its own water supply schemes and to other organisations who own water infrastructure in the local government, mining and industrial sectors.  Our experienced team of facilities management professionals work with our clients to understand their business systems and to tailor services to meet their individual needs.

Our range of expertise includes operations and maintenance on dams and weirs, pipelines, channels, water treatment plants and water distribution systems.

SunWater’s extensive portfolio of facilities management services to external customers includes:

  • Pipelines
    • Awoonga Callide Pipeline (PDF format 257KB) — operates, maintains and owns the Awoonga Callide Pipeline, the Stag Creek Pipeline and three major pump stations
    • BMA Water Pipeline Network (PDF format 228KB) — contracted to BMA to operate and maintain six major industrial pipelines, associated pump stations and storage facilities supplying water to the BMA coal mines (and others) in the Bowen Basin
    • Tarong Pipeline (PDF format 237KB) — operates, maintains and owns the pipeline and three major pump stations for water supply to Tarong Power Station

    • Nebo Sewerage Treatment Plant (PDF format 294KB) — provides operations, maintenance and training services to the Nebo Shire Council for the Shire’s sewerage treatment plant

    • Scrivener Dam (PDF format 277KB) — operations, maintenance and flood operations of Scrivener Dam which holds back the waters of Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra
  • Irrigation Schemes
    • Dumaresq River Irrigation Project (PDF format 312KB) — controls and distributes water to irrigators in the Borders Rivers area under contract with Department of Natural Resources and Water
