Model Contracts — Model Water Trading Contracts

To make it easier for customers to conduct temporary transfers and sale of water allocations, SunWater now provides a free set of contracts to guide these processes.

As part of our commitment to helping customers better manage their businesses, SunWater is providing these model contracts online to assist individual water trades.

However, because no two transactions are the same, customers should always seek their own legal advice to ensure the particular issues specific to their trade will be addressed. SunWater is not able to provide legal advice.

To arrange a contract for a temporary water trade or sale of water allocation, simply:

• click on the link to the relevant contract below, and read and accept the disclaimer;
• carefully read the Guide on the front page and the model contract terms; and
• discuss the proposed trade with your lawyer.
