The Queensland Government has developed a Multi-Agency Response Plan for Harmful Algal Blooms (HAB) which provides a framework to guide a coordinated response by state agencies, local government and water storage operators to reduce the risk of harmful algal blooms to humans, livestock and wildlife. The HAB plan is technically supported by the Queensland Harmful Algal Blooms Operation Procedures.
