Our process

Stage 1: Application

Your cover letter in conjunction with your resume will provide us with some information about you and why you are interested in joining SunWater.

To submit your application and search for any current vacancies, visit SunWater's recruitment website.

Stage 2: Interview and Assessment

This is a formal and structured interview where a panel of two managers will explore your suitability to SunWater and the role in more detail. This interview will also give you the opportunity to ask specific questions about the positions available.

At SunWater, it is as important for our employees to align with our Corporate Values and Behaviours as it is for their technical ability – this is what we will be looking for in these interviews.  Don’t forget to bring a copy of your formal transcript of University results.

The selection process may incorporate psychological, cognitive and aptitude assessments and/or work samples or exercises. This will allow us to assess your skills and abilities for some of the roles that you will be undertaking in the program.

You may be invited to an additional interview, if required, for further information.

Stage 3: Referee Reports

We will contact your nominated referees to discuss your suitability to the position. Where possible please nominate work referees.

Stage 4: Final Selection

If you are successful and choose to accept our offer to join SunWater’s Graduate Program, we will then negotiate your start date. As some of these positions will be in regional areas, you should be prepared to accept a position in one of those areas.

SunWater employs graduates from a range of engineering disciplines such as Civil, Electrical, Environmental and Mechanical Engineers on the Graduate Program.
