Connors River Dam and Pipelines Project Industry Briefing

SunWater are undertaking advanced feasibility investigations into the construction of a dam on the Connors River in Central Queensland. A large diameter pipeline is also being investigated connecting the Connors River Dam to the Bowen Basin, in the vicinity of Moranbah. Total project costs are estimated at over $800m. It is anticipated that construction would commence in 2011 and be completed by 2014, assuming all approvals are in place by this time.

An Industry Briefing for the Connors River Dam and Pipelines Project is planned for Wednesday, 29 September 2010. The briefing will outline the preferred Early Contractor Involvement infrastructure delivery model that is expected to commence late 2010.
